Jose Angel is a 4th year pre-doctoral student at both the Laboratory of Neuroimaging and the Laboratory of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience in the Center for Biomedical Technology. He has an FPU grant from the Spanish Ministry of education for the development of his research.
He is interested in the development of methods to characterize both functional and anatomical connectivity using MEG, EEG, fMRI and DWI. He aims to combine data from all these sources using novel modelling techniques in order to improve classification accuracy in the early diagnose of Alzheimer's.
Jose Angel obtained the graduate degree in Communication Engineering, with a specialization in Control and Robotics, in the University of Sevilla. He has been working as a researcher in the Fraunhofer Insitute for Integrated Circuits in Erlgangen, Germany. After that, he obtained a Master degree in Biomedical Engineering in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
